Host a crochet workshop!

Stitching for Service

If you’re someone who has learnt the awesome art of crochet or knitting, here’s a great place to share your skill!

Hosting a crochet workshop brings people together for a creative, hands-on experience that’s as fun as it is meaningful. Participants get to learn new stitches, experiment with colorful yarns, and enjoy the relaxed, social vibe of crafting together. But beyond the joy of making something beautiful, every hat created becomes a warm gift for someone in need. It’s a chance to laugh, learn, and create—while also contributing to a shared mission of kindness. In this workshop, every loop and stitch becomes part of something bigger: a simple act of community that spreads warmth far beyond the room.

There are a few fun ways to run this workshop:

    • Individual Projects: Each participant can create one or two hats, allowing everyone to work at their own pace while contributing a meaningful piece.

    • Collaborative Projects: Participants can team up in pairs to crochet a scarf or baby blanket together, combining their creativity and effort into a larger, shared gift.

In fact, if you love learning and taking up new activities, you may even learn this amazing skill and then host your own workshop!

Here are some things to keep in mind when deciding the ticket cost

The workshop would cost a certain amount per participant, and this money would be used to buy the material required to make the hats, scarves, or blankets for the needy.

So when planning your ticket cost, make sure to consider time, efficiency and affordable material.
